Job summary

The Jane Pauley Community Health Center, Inc is seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) to deliver comprehensive primary and preventive pediatric care in Indiana. You will independently assess, diagnose, treat, and manage conditions from infancy to young adulthood, collaborating with physicians to provide family-centered care.

Requirements include MSN or DNP, Indiana RN and NP licenses, and CPNP certification with BLS; PALS and CSR/DEA are preferred or required depending on setting.

Qualifications

• MSN or DNP from an accredited program.
• Current Indiana RN and NP licenses.
• National pediatric NP certification (CPNP).
• BLS required; PALS preferred or required by setting.
• CSR and DEA if prescribing controlled substances.
• Minimum of one year pediatric clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive primary and preventive pediatric care.
• Assess, diagnose, treat, and manage infant to young adult health needs.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team for family-centered care.
• Perform immunizations, preventive exams, and health screenings.
• Order and interpret labs and diagnostic tests as needed.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and wellness.
• Coordinate referrals and follow-up with schools and community resources.
• Maintain compliant clinical documentation and quality initiatives.
