Job summary

Premise Health in Ladson, SC is seeking a PRN Nurse Practitioner to provide care to client employees at our Health Center located in Ladson, SC. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 AM–4:30 PM as needed.

You will perform physical exams, preventive care, and procedures, develop care plans, educate patients, order tests, and collaborate with physicians for comprehensive care. Applicants must hold NP licensure in the state, active national certification (ANCC/AANP), BLS, and DEA (matching state

Qualifications

• Active RN and NP licenses in the U.S.
• Current national NP certification (ANCC/AANP)
• BLS/CPR for healthcare providers
• DEA license and state prescriptive authority as applicable
• 3+ years NP clinical experience in ambulatory/occupational/family practice/ED

Responsibilities

• Perform physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines.
• Carry out procedures such as injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management.
• Develop patient care plans, record progress, and ensure continuity of care.
• Educate patients on treatment plans and health maintenance.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests; refer to specialists as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care.
• Prescribe treatments and medications; manage therapies.
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation.
• Educate and coach nursing staff on best practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

As a PRN Nurse Practitioner, you'll provide care to client employees in our Health Center located in Ladson, SC. The scheduled hours are Monday - Friday, 8 AM-4:30 PM as needed.

What You’ll Do

• Conducts physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines
• Performs procedures such as injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management
• Develops patient care plans, records progress, and ensures continuity of care
• Educates patients on treatment plans, health maintenance, and development
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests to assess clinical conditions
• Collaborates with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care
• Prescribes or recommends treatments, including medications and therapies
• Refers patients to specialists or physicians as needed
• Maintains patient health records ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation and records
• Educates and coaches nursing staff on best practices
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• Maintains state RN licenses/certificates to practice
• Maintains Nurse Practitioner licenses/certificates to practice
• Maintains State Prescriptive Authority (if applicable)
• Federal DEA license (matching each state of practice as applicable)
• State Narcotic/Controlled Substance license if required in your state
• Current national certification (ANCC or AANP required)
• Master’s Degree in Science of Nursing (if Master Degree in Science certificate does not state Nursing on it then a copy of transcripts is required)
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
• At least three years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in an ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice or emergency department setting
