Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: A graduate or higher-level degree in nursing from an accredited program.
• Licensure: A current, active, full, and unrestricted nursing license from a U.S. state or territory.
• Advanced Practice Nurse: Licensure or certification in the applicable APN specialty.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret patient histories, symptoms, and diagnostic information to develop diagnoses.
• Develop treatment plans based on standards of care and guidelines.
• Diagnose or treat acute health problems such as illnesses, infections, and injuries.
• Prescribe medications based on efficacy, safety, dosage and frequencies.
• Educate patients about self-management of acute or chronic illnesses.
