Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate or higher-level degree in nursing from an accredited program.
• Current, active nursing license by a state or territory.
• Advanced Practice Nurse licensure in the appropriate specialty.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret patient histories, symptoms, and diagnostic information to develop diagnoses.
• Develop treatment plans based on standards of care and guidelines.
• Diagnose or treat acute health care problems such as illnesses and injuries.
• Prescribe medications based on efficacy, safety, dosage and frequencies.
• Educate patients about self-management of acute or chronic illnesses tailored to individual needs.
