Qualifications

• Graduate or higher-level nursing degree from an accredited nursing program.
• Current, active nursing license in the U.S. or territories.
• Advanced Practice Nurse licensure in the indicated specialty.
• Must have passed the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX).
• Education transcripts or foreign equivalency if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret patient histories, symptoms, and diagnostic information to establish diagnoses.
• Develop treatment plans based on scientific rationale and guidelines.
• Diagnose or treat acute health issues including illnesses, infections, and injuries.
• Prescribe medications considering efficacy, safety, dosage and frequencies.
• Educate patients on self-management of acute or chronic illnesses, tailored to individual circumstances.
