Job summary

Atria Health and Research Institute in New York seeks Advanced Care Providers (NPs and PAs) to join our Internal Medicine teams. You will work closely with Chief Medical Officers to deliver high-quality primary and specialty care, including urgent care for adults and weekend coverage as needed.

Ideal candidates have strong internal medicine knowledge, 2+ years of NP/PA practice, and current NYS licensure. This is a full-time role with growth opportunities and a collaborative, patient-centered

Qualifications

• Current NYS NP license or PA license is required.
• 2+ years of practicing NP or PA-C experience.
• BLS & ACLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Ability to work 4 days x 10 hour shifts and some weekend coverage.
• Comfort with independent urgent care or primary care for adults.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments including history, exams, and diagnostic tests.
• Prescribe medications, order and interpret tests, and implement treatment plans.
• Educate patients and families on health promotion and disease prevention.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other health professionals to coordinate care.
• Perform clinical skills such as phlebotomy, IV insertion, and EKG; may see urgent visits on weekends.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure regulatory compliance.
