Job summary

Applicants must hold NY RN and NP licenses, have NP certification, and possess a Master's degree. Advanced certifications (DEA, BLS, ACLS/PALS/NALS) are required as part of credentialing and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• New York RN license with current registration.
• NYS NP certification with current registration.
• Graduate of NYS NP program or equivalent.
• Post-Masters NP certificate acceptable.
• Collaborative Practice Agreement with physician if <3600 hours.
• DEA and BLS certificates required.
• ACLS, PALS, NALS, NRP certificates as required.

Responsibilities

• Assess health status via history and exam.
• Initiate orders, prescribe meds, and adjust care.
• Educate on health promotion and disease management.
• Document findings in medical record.
• Consult with physician per policies.
• Collaborate in team meetings to ensure care continuity.
