Job summary

Atrius Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Quincy, MA. As part of Optum Care Delivery, you will provide comprehensive primary care to a defined panel, perform exams, diagnoses, and treatments, and coordinate care with specialists while guiding care plans for patients.

The role emphasizes collaboration with families, supervision of care plans, and staff direction to ensure efficient patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Nurse Practitioner Program (Masters level preferred).
• Licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts board of registration in Nursing.
• National Board Certification is required.
• Current active Mass DPH Controlled Substances Registration or ability to obtain post-hire.
• Current active DEA licensure/prescriptive authority or ability to obtain post-hire.
• Maintains BLS certification, professional certification as appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive, longitudinal clinical and administrative coordination of care for a panel of patients.
• Examination, diagnosis and treatment in a primary care setting, including care plan supervision and referrals.
• Manage and adjust treatment regimens based on patient response.
• Collaborate with patients and families to implement care plans.
• Provide consultation regarding hospitalized patients in the panel.
• Supervise staff to ensure department effectiveness and efficiency.
