Job summary

GoHealth Urgent Care in Central Indiana is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner to provide a broad range of clinical services across ages in urgent care settings. You will assess, diagnose, and treat acute episodic conditions, perform minor procedures, order tests, interpret results, and refer to specialists as needed.

You'll work independently or with a physician and cover shifts of 4, 8, or 12 hours. The role requires a Master’s in Nursing and national NP certification, with 1 year of urgent

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of full-time experience as a licensed NP or PA in an Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting.
• Experience treating both pediatric and adult patient populations.
• Comfortable performing minor procedures including suturing, casting, and splinting.
• Proficient in preliminary reads of EKGs and X-rays.
• Nurse Practitioners: Master's degree in Nursing; National certification as a NP (AANP or ANCC).

• Perform minor procedures including suturing, splinting, and casting.

About the Role

As a Nurse Practitioner (NP), you will provide a broad range of clinical services to patients of all ages. You'll treat acute episodic conditions such as sore throats, colds, flu-like symptoms, cuts, sprains, and minor infections. You'll work independently or alongside a physician, using your clinical expertise to assess, diagnose, and treat patients, while recognizing when to elevate care to emergency services.

• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of full-time experience as a licensed NP or PA in an Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting (required)
• Experience treating both pediatric and adult patient populations (required)
• Comfortable performing minor procedures including suturing, casting, and splinting (required)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
• Multilingual communication skills
