Job summary

Senior PsychCare in Corpus Christi, TX is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a collaborative behavioral health team. You will conduct cognitive and emotional assessments, manage medications, and work with nursing home residents in person or via telehealth.

Qualifications

• Licensed NP or PA in the state of Texas.
• Psychiatric/mental health experience required.
• Experience with geriatric populations strongly preferred.
• Spanish bilingual is a plus.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be comfortable traveling locally.
• Adaptive, flexible, and committed to team-based care.

• Conduct cognitive and emotional assessments to set/manage treatment plans
• Manage psychotropic medication and gradual dose reductions
• Collaborate with nursing home staff and SPC’s behavioral health team
• Participate in treatment team meetings (in-person and virtual)
• Deliver care both in-person and via telehealth when appropriate
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in our EHR system
