Job description

The Department of Cardiovascular Diseases at Mayo Clinic's campus in Jacksonville, Florida, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to support the Division of Cardiac Subspecialty Clinics within the Comprehensive Cardiology Service line. The Advanced Practice Provider will work closely with a multidisciplinary team managing a broad range of cardiovascular conditions, including but not limited to coronary artery disease, arrhythmias, heart failure, and valvular disease. In alignment with Mayo Clinic's mission and the three shields of medicine - clinical practice, research, and education - this position offers an opportunity to advance patient care and contribute to academic and programmatic growth within the department.

The Nurse Practitioner performs the following tasks in any authorized setting (clinics, hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, nursing homes, or patient's home).

• Obtaining patient history

• Demonstrates ability to assess data reflective of patient's status and appropriately interprets information relative to patient's age-specific needs.
