Job summary
The Mayo Clinic Department of Cardiovascular Diseases in Jacksonville, Florida is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to support the Division of Cardiac Subspecialty Clinics. The Advanced Practice Provider will work with a multidisciplinary team to manage a broad range of cardiovascular conditions, including CAD, arrhythmias, heart failure, and valvular disease.

Qualifications
- Active NP or PA licensure in good standing
- Experience in cardiovascular care preferred
- Ability to perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures within scope
Responsibilities
- Obtain patient history and perform physical examinations
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging as appropriate
- Develop and implement diagnostic impressions and treatment plans
- Monitor patient progress and adjust therapy as needed
- Prescribe medications and manage pharmacologic therapies
- Assist in surgical procedures and minor procedures as needed
- Provide patient counseling and education to meet needs
- Coordinate referrals within multidisciplinary team
- Participate in OnDemand interview process if required by Mayo Clinic
- Demonstrate data interpretation aligned with patient age-specific needs
- Contribute to academic and programmatic growth within department
