Position: Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

Medi-Weightloss invites an exceptional Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our dynamic team in a full-time, part-time, or PRN role at our Rhode Island location. Clinical Responsibilities:
  1. Obtain and review patient's medical and psychosocial history relevant to patient care.
  2. Conduct physical examinations according to company guidelines.
  3. Order and review laboratory studies and diagnostic procedures, including ECGs.
  4. Deliver Preventive Medicine Counseling, Program counseling, and Product and Supplement Education.
  5. Adhere to prescription guidelines as per the collaborative agreement with the supervising physician.
  6. Maintain documentation for patient care and medication management in the EMR according to company standards.
  7. Review patient progress and manage care accordingly.
  8. Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and facilities as necessary.
  9. Conduct follow-up calls to discuss patient progress and address concerns.
General Responsibilities:
  1. Weekly review of Weight Tracker Report, Slipping Report, and KPIs to provide clinical oversight and mentor staff.
  2. Serve as the liaison for medical and clinical affairs at the locations.
  3. Participate in ongoing training and serve as in-house trainer for medical staff.
  4. Seek opportunities to improve clinical operations' efficiency and effectiveness.
  5. Develop strategic recommendations to enhance patient experience.
  6. Participate in launching new programs, services, and products.
  7. Demonstrate strong project management skills in developing and monitoring work plans.
