Nurse Practitioner - Silverside OBGYN Practice
ChristianaCare is seeking a full‑time Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive obstetrical and gynecologic care, including family planning and prenatal services.
Position Overview
- Provide direct ambulatory health care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric women seeking OB/GYN services.
- Conduct health screening, education, family planning, STI screening, obstetrical care, and prenatal care.
- Perform comprehensive health histories and physical examinations.
- Order and interpret laboratory tests for screening, diagnosis, and follow‑up.
- Prescribe contraceptives, including LARC.
- Monitor prenatal patient progress and assess risk status.
- Evaluate normal and high‑risk obstetrical patients.
- Perform limited OB and GYN ultrasounds.
- Perform endometrial biopsies and other office procedures (colposcopy, vulvar biopsy, wound care).
- See patients in person and virtually.

Position Qualifications
- Master’s degree in women’s health nursing and board certification as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner.
- License or license‑eligible in the State of Delaware.
- Minimum two years of clinical experience preferred.
- Experience performing in‑office GYN procedures (IUD, Nexplanon insertion/removal, abscess incision and drainage, endometrial biopsy, vulvar biopsy, wound care).
- Prescriptive authority, DEA registration, and BLS required.
Annual compensation range: $111,278.00 - $140,485.00.
