Medrina in Greensboro, NC is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our physician-owned group in a Skilled Nursing Facility, focusing on post-acute and rehabilitative care including orthopedic recovery and stroke management.

The role offers Monday–Friday, full-time hours with no nights, no calls and no weekends, a round-and-go model, strong autonomy, and ongoing mentorship within a supportive network.

Qualifications

• Active NP license in North Carolina.
• Active DEA license or ability to obtain before start.
• Minimum 1 year of NP clinical experience (SNF/geriatrics preferred).
• Experience managing adult/geriatric patients.
• Strong clinical decision-making and time management skills.
• Comfortable working independently in an SNF setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical care for SNF patients including assessments and treatment planning.
• Manage orthopedic rehab, post-stroke care, and chronic pain in adults.
• Ensure accurate, timely EMR documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical care to SNF patients, including assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning
• Manage patients with orthopedic rehab needs, post-stroke care, and chronic pain conditions
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation in EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in North Carolina
• Active DEA license (or ability to obtain prior to start)-Required
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as an NP (SNF, geriatrics, internal medicine, or rehab experience strongly preferred)

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and sitting while working with patients as well as working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• May be exposed to bloodborne pathogens, physical hazards (e.g., needle pricks, etc.) and chemical hazards.
• Must wear the required PPE per company and/or facility requirements.
• Must comply with facility vaccination requirements.
