Job summary

Medrina is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our physician-owned group in North Calabasas, CA, working in a Skilled Nursing Facility to provide post-acute and rehabilitative care including orthopedic recovery, stroke management, and pain management, collaborating with a lead provider.

The role offers Monday–Friday scheduling with no nights or weekends, a strong work-life balance, and access to a national provider network, administrative support, mentorship, and ongoing

Qualifications

• Active NP license in California required.
• DEA license active or able to obtain prior to start.
• Minimum 1 year of NP clinical experience (SNF, geriatrics, internal medicine, or rehab preferred).
• Experience with adult/geriatric populations.
• Strong clinical decision-making and time management skills.
• Comfortable working independently in an SNF setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical care to SNF patients, including assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
• Manage patients with orthopedic rehab needs, post-stroke care, and chronic pain conditions.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation in EMR.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and sitting while working with patients as well as working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Must wear the required PPE per company and/or facility requirements.
