Matrix Providers is hiring a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to conduct one-time non-treatment Veteran Disability Exams in Macon, GA. This part-time role offers flexible scheduling and on-site work.

You will review medical history, capture responses via web forms, and submit exams to the US Department of Veterans Affairs for disability determinations. On-site ancillary testing may be arranged.

Formación

• Hold and maintain an active and unrestricted NP or PA license.
• PA candidates must hold NCCPA certification and remain certified during employment.
• Master's degree or completed NP/PA program.
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good interpersonal skills and adaptability to changing situations.
• Must possess basic computer skills.
• All on-site staff must be vaccinated per CDC/state guidelines.
• Prior VA or compensation exam experience is a plus but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Review relevant medical history and provide one-time non-treatment Veteran Disability Exams.
• Capture responses during exams via web-based forms; submit documentation electronically.
• Exams cover standard areas including musculoskeletal, cardio, and respiratory.
• Ancillary tests (X-rays, labs, EKGs, PFTs, ABIs) may be ordered and performed on-site or nearby.

Matrix Providers is hiring a Nurse Practitioner NP Physician Assistant PA to join our team of talented medical professionals to conduct one time non treatment Veteran Disability Exams in Macon GA.

This is an hourly position paid bi weekly 6167 hourly rate

Schedule

Part Time 3 days a week Monday Friday 800am 500pm

Requirements and Skillsets

• Hold and maintain an active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license for the duration of your employment
• Physician Assistants must hold an active NCCPA certification and remain certified during the duration of their employment
• Have a masters degree or successfully completed an approved Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• Have an active Basic Life Support BLS certification
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good interpersonal skills and a willingness to be flexible and adapt to changing situations
• Must possess basic computer skills
• All on site staff and contractors must be fully vaccinated per CDC and state guidelines
• Prior VA or compensation exam experience is a plus but not required

Job Summary

• Review pertinent medical history documentation and provide veterans with one time non treatment compensation and pension exams
• The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant will capture responses during the exam through web based examination forms; all documentation will be completed electronically. Completed exams are sent to the US Department of Veterans Affairs for disability award determinations
• Standard exams include musculoskeletal cardio and respiratory
• Ancillaries X rays labs EKGs PFTs ABIs may be ordered and will be conducted on location or nearby
