Join a Growing Nephrology Practice

A growing, physician-led nephrology practice is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide outpatient nephrology and dialysis care in the Merced and Los Banos areas.

This is an excellent opportunity for an NP with nephrology, dialysis, internal medicine, or hospital medicine experience—or a motivated NP interested in developing expertise in kidney care.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate and manage patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) and other renal conditions.
• Provide outpatient nephrology care and participate in dialysis patient management.
• Perform patient assessments, review labs and diagnostic results, and develop treatment plans.
• Manage hypertension, anemia, electrolyte disorders, mineral/bone disorders, and other complications of kidney disease.
• Provide medication management, patient education, and care coordination.
• Collaborate with nephrologists, dialysis teams, hospitals, and other healthcare professionals.
• As the role develops, participate in inpatient nephrology rounding and consultations.

What We're Looking For

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current or eligible California NP license.
• National NP certification.
• Current BLS certification.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
• Willingness to travel between locations in the Merced and Los Banos areas.

Nephrology experience is preferred but not required. Candidates with experience in dialysis, internal medicine, hospital medicine, or complex chronic disease management are encouraged to apply.
