Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC seeks an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join a NICU team with Level 3 and Level 2 units adjacent to labor and delivery. You will care for critically ill and premature infants in a collaborative, teaching-focused environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Attend deliveries and manage high-risk neonates.
• Care for preterm and term infants in NICU settings.
• Perform assessments, intubation, line placements and ventilator management as needed.
• Collaborate with neonatology team to develop and implement care plans.

Job description

Seeking an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join a NICU team in a regional division with Level 3 and Level 2 NICUs adjacent to labor and delivery. The role involves caring for critically ill, preterm, and term infants, working closely with neonatologists, nurses, and residents in a collaborative environment.

Opportunities include coverage of a network NICU (Level 3 with 14 beds expanding to 20, and Level 2 with 7 beds under development), managing over 2,000 deliveries annually, with flexible shift options (8, 16, 24 hours). The position involves attending deliveries, managing high-risk infants, admissions, assessments, intubation, line placements, chest tubes, arterial punctures, ventilator management, and other procedures as needed.
