Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments of newborns in the neonatal unit.
  • Develop care plans with the healthcare team.
  • Monitor ventilator support for premature infants.
  • Educate parents on neonatal care techniques.
  • Educate parents on neonatal care techniques and post-discharge instructions.
  • Participate in daily rounds and communicate patient updates to the medical team.
  • Assist in emergency situations requiring immediate intervention.
  • Document patient information accurately and maintain medical records.

We are currently seeking a dedicated Locum Nurse Practitioner (NP) specializing in Neonatology . In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing high-quality care to newborns in need of specialized medical attention. Your expertise will be instrumental in supporting the neonatal team and ensuring the well‑being of our tiniest patients. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on challenging cases, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and make a significant impact in the field of neonatal care.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of newborns in the neonatal unit.
  • Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Perform procedures such as intubations, lumbar punctures, and umbilical line placements.
  • Monitor and manage ventilator support for premature infants.
  • Educate parents on neonatal care techniques and post-discharge instructions.
  • Participate in daily rounds and communicate patient updates to the medical team.
  • Assist in emergency situations requiring immediate intervention.
  • Document patient information accurately and maintain medical records.
