Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking independent contractor Nurse Practitioners to support military service members across US Army Reserve, ARNG, USNR, MARFORRES, USCGR, ANG, USAFR.

Responsibilities include performing health assessments, reviewing records, interviewing personnel, and documenting readiness classifications in the proprietary medical system. Weekends are primary with occasional weekdays under the RHRP, travel and remote installations may be required.

Qualifications

• Active NP license in the state.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Experience with Primary Care, Urgent Care or Occupational Health preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Physical Health Assessments of military personnel.
• Review health history, service member medical records, and medical questionnaires.
• Interview military personnel to determine current and prior medical concerns.
• Identify any concerns that need immediate attention, including Behavioral Health.
• Document interview results for readiness classification in the service member’s medical record using the proprietary system.
