Job summary

Cell Staff is seeking a licensed Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to provide primary care for inmates at our client facilities in North Carolina. This full-time contract position offers weekday schedules in a correctional setting with no weekend requirements and 8-hour shifts.

Ideal candidates hold an active NP license in good standing, a graduation from an accredited program, and at least 1 year of NP experience, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) by the state.
• Graduation from an accredited NP program.
• Minimum 1 year NP experience.

Responsibilities

• Providing primary care to inmates
• Performing initial examinations, including physical exams and patient observations
• Setting up and monitoring medical equipment
• Ordering and administering diagnostic tests
• Recording patient medical histories
• Operating and maintaining medical equipment
• Perform other duties as assigned

Education

Licensed NP (State license in good standing)

Accredited NP program graduation
