Cell Staff is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner for a full-time, 20-week contract assignment at Piedmont Correctional Institution in Salisbury, NC. Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in North Carolina.
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner.
- Prior experience in correctional health, urgent care, or emergency medicine preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conduct physical examinations and diagnose illnesses.
- Monitor and manage conditions like diabetes and hypertension.
- Respond to emergencies and evaluate acute injuries.
- Prescribe medications and monitor patient compliance.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
- Maintain electronic health records.
