Bay Area Hyperbarics in Los Gatos, CA is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to serve as onsite advanced practice clinician, providing medical oversight and full-journey clinical documentation for HBOT patients while expanding into regenerative medicine and wellness services.

You will conduct initial assessments, educate patients about risks and benefits, coordinate with referring physicians, and ensure Medicare-compliant notes and discharge summaries.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted California NP license and MSN/DNP from an accredited program.
• Current national NP certification (FNP-BC, ACNP-BC, AGNP-C, or equivalent).
• BLS and ACLS certifications current.
• California Furnishing Number and DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain).
• Medicare PTAN enrollment and certification to treat Medicare patients.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Kaiser Permanente collaborative agreement.
• 2+ years of NP clinical experience in outpatient, primary care, wound care, or a specialty setting.
• Hyperbaric experience is a plus but not required; training provided.
• Strong documentation skills, including experience with Medicare standards.
• Proficiency with EHR systems (CareCloud a plus).

Responsabilités

• Conduct initial medical assessments for new patients prior to HBOT treatment.
• Review referrals and prepare protocol and prescriptions for safe care.
• Educate patients on HBOT risks, benefits, and informed consent.
• Monitor patients during treatment and respond to acute issues.
• Author Medicare-compliant progress notes to support medical necessity.
• Discharge consultations and discharge summaries with outcomes.
• Coordinate with referring physicians and care teams.
• Maintain a Kaiser collaboration agreement.
• Serve as clinical resource for hyperbaric technicians.
• Participate in quality improvement and regulatory readiness.
• Consult with patients about regenerative medicine and wellness.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Formation

MSN or DNP from an accredited program

Current national NP certification (FNP-BC, ACNP-BC, AGNP-C, or equivalent)
