Job summary

St. Mary’s Physician Care, affiliated with St. Mary’s Medical Center, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide general care across ages in a hospitalist setting.

The role is full-time nights with 7on/7off shifts, 12-hour blocks, and an open ICU. Prior inpatient hospitalist experience is preferred; BLS and an APRN license required. Join a dedicated team supporting quality patient care in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• MSN with specialization as an ARNP.
• Current state license as an Advanced Practice Nurse.
• BLS upon hire and maintain current.
• One to two years of experience as a nurse practitioner preferred.
• Previous experience with electronic health record.

Responsibilities

• Provide general care to patients of all ages within scope.
• Conduct tests, record medical histories, provide treatments, prescribe medications.
• Assist physicians and enhance health awareness.

Responsibilities

The Nurse Practitioner focuses on providing general care to patients of all ages, with utmost patience, care, compassion and understanding. Perform tasks within their scope of practice which may include conducting tests, recording medical histories, providing treatments, assisting physicians and enhancing public awareness on the importance of health, and prescribing medications.
