Job summary

St. Mary’s Physician Care in Missouri is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join the daytime hospitalist team in an inpatient setting. A minimum of 2 years’ inpatient NP experience and autonomous practice are preferred.

The role features Full Time Days, 10-hour shifts, and a competitive hourly rate with CME allowance. EMR using EPIC and a Collaborative Practice Agreement are required components of the position.

Qualifications

• MSN with specialization as an ARNP and Missouri license.
• Two years of inpatient nurse practitioner experience.
• BLS certification required at hire and kept current.
• Experience with electronic health records, preferably EPIC.

Responsibilities

• Provide general inpatient care for patients of all ages with compassion.
• Perform tests, document histories, provide treatments, and assist physicians.
• Prescribe medications within scope and monitor patient progress.
• Collaborate with a collegial team and participate in teaching environment.
• Operate under Collaborative Practice Agreement and EPIC EMR usage.

St. Mary's Medical Center is seeking an experienced nurse practitioner to join the daytime hospitalist team to care for patients in an inpatient setting. Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 2 years' experience working as an advanced practice provider in the inpatient setting and be comfortable working autonomously.

Responsibilities

The Nurse Practitioner focuses on providing general care to patients of all ages, with utmost patience, care, compassion and understanding. Perform tasks within their scope of practice which may include conducting tests, recording medical histories, providing treatments, assisting physicians and enhancing public awareness on the importance of health, and prescribing medications.
