HAN Staff is seeking a Nurse Practitioner in Taylorsville, NC, offering a local pay rate of $98.40 per hour with 1099 compensation. This full-time NP role involves performing comprehensive patient assessments, treating acute and chronic conditions, ordering tests, prescribing medications, and coordinating care within a correctional healthcare setting.

Strong collaboration with physicians and teams is essential.

Qualificações

• Current, valid, and unrestricted North Carolina NP license.
• Minimum of 2 years+ of recent experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Copy of PSV from licensing board or verification agency, if required.
• Copy of all current required certifications (e.g., BLS, N95 fit test, immunizations, TB test).

Responsabilidades

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, examinations, and histories.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic health conditions.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests and lab results.
• Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans within scope of practice.
• Educate patients and families on prevention, treatment options, and wellness.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Document encounters in the EMR.
• Promote preventive care and screenings.
• Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines and facility policies.
