Yoh, a Day & Zimmermann company, seeks an Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner for a full-time hybrid, contract-to-hire role at a Downtown Los Angeles clinic. You will work with an onsite team, handling employee health, immunizations, and pre-placement physicals, with travel as needed.

Expected to perform triage, education, and ambulatory care for 700+ employees, and to operate autonomously on site with occasional telehealth days. California NP license and prescriptive authority required.

Qualifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in California (FNP/ANP).
• Current prescriptive authority in CA.
• Minimum of 2 years as a provider in healthcare.
• Experience in occupational/employee health or related areas.
• Comfort with telehealth and blood draws.
• EMR experience; Quest EMR knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assess, triage, treat, and educate employees on health concerns.
• Perform injury/illness triage and treatment.
• Administer immunizations and travel vaccines.
• Onsite physicals (pre-placement, return-to-work, fitness-for-duty).
• Ambulatory care for common conditions (sore throats, rashes, etc.).
• Onsite testing for strep, UTI, influenza, and glucose abnormalities.
• Dispense OTC medications; perform phlebotomy.

Job description

Occupational HealthNurse Practitioner needed for a full-time hybrid,contract-to-hire opportunity supporting Yoh’s well-known corporate office client based in Downtown Los Angeles, CA.

This is a newly created position joining an established onsite medical clinic team that already includes a Nurse Practitioner, Physical Therapists, and Mental Health Counselors. You'll serve as the highest level of medical care for a high-performing workforce of 700+ employees. Must be comfortable working autonomously as you will likely be solo onsite, alternating with the other NP.

• Work 9:00am to 5:00pm onsite 3 days/week in Downtown LA (including alternating Wednesdays & Fridays); telemedicine on non-clinic days
• Travel required to Century City when needed, in addition to San Diego, Orange County, and San Francisco (frequency TBD - likely monthly for SoCal and quarterly for NorCal).

Top Skills You Should Possess:

• Active Nurse Practitioner(FNP/ANP)license in state of California
• Current prescription authority
• Minimum 2years ofexperience as a provider
• Previous experience in Occupational/Employee Health, Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, Corrections, Primary Care, Internal Medicine, or FamilyPractice
• Comfortable performing blood draws
