Yoh, a Day & Zimmermann company, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant for a PRN on-site role in New York, NY. The position involves overseeing clinical and administrative tasks, triaging and treating minor injuries, dispensing medications, and coordinating health programs for employees.

Candidates must have completed an approved NP/PA program and be registered in NY, with at least 12 months in Adult Medicine.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant program.
• Registered/certified by the State of New York Board of Nursing/Board of Physician Quality Assurance.
• Minimum twelve months related experience (Adult Medicine).

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical and administrative work of on-site registered nurse.
• Triage and treat minor work-related and non-work-related injuries and illnesses.
• Dispense over the counter and prescription medications.
• Provide support and case management for work-related and non-work-related conditions.
• Provide on-site specimen/lab collection for employees with lab orders.
• Provide on-site testing for streptococcus, UTI, influenza, hyperglycemia, and hypoglycemia.
• Perform on-site physical assessments (pre-placement, return to work, fitness for duty).
• Provide travel immunizations and guidance for employees traveling abroad for company business.
• Coordinate second opinions for employees.
• Plan health education seminars.
• Coordinate annual seasonal influenza vaccination program.

What You’ll Be Doing
