Job summary

Yoh is seeking a full-time Occupational Health Registered Nurse for our Pittsboro, IN site. The role focuses on treating on-site injuries, managing injured workers, and coordinating health surveillance programs for all employees.

Responsibilities include conducting screenings, coordinating pre-employment testing, ergonomics assessments, and training staff in First Aid and CPR/AED as medical responders. Strong emphasis on HIPAA-compliant documentation and OSHA compliance.

Qualifications

• Active RN license.
• 2 or more years hospital or clinic nursing experience.
• Excellent assessment skills in a clinical setting.
• Phlebotomy.
• Current CPR/AED certification.
• Travel, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Case management for injured workers and facilitate return to work.
• Provide medical surveillance for all employees including audiograms, spirometry, vision screening, and lead testing.
• Provide medical surveillance and case management.
• Conduct pre-employment drug and alcohol screening & coordinate medical examinations.
• Participate in ergonomics assessments and job hazard analysis.
• Train employees in First Aid and CPR/AED as medical responders to aid in care of injured workers.
• Train employees in Bloodborne Pathogens, Hearing Conservation, Violence in the workplace, Ergonomics and Heat Stress to meet OSHA requirements.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation.
• Deliver regional health metrics and outcomes.
• Purchase all supplies for the first aid clinic.
• Develop and meet site budget expectations.
• Drive improved health outcomes including reducing workplace health risks and supporting better business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Treatment of on-site injuries and referral to outside medical care as needed
• Case management for injured workers and facilitate return to work

• Provide medical surveillance and case management
• Conduct new hirepre-employment drug and alcohol screening & coordinate medical examinations
• Participate in ergonomics assessments and job hazard analysis

• Accountable for delivery of agreed to regional health metrics and outcomes
• Purchase all supplies required for the first aid clinic

• Drive increased health outcomes including reducing population health risks, managing, and eliminating workplace health risks and supporting improved business outcomes through advancing employee health andwellbeing
• Willingness to work closely with the Safety Coordinators at the division level torecognizehazards and preventinjury

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license
• 2 or more years hospital or clinic nursing experience
• Excellent assessment skills in a clinical setting
• Phlebotomy
• Current CPR/AED certification
• Travel, as needed

Preferred

• 3+ years of experience in occupational nursing or emergency nursing and/or clinic experience
• 3 + years of experience in a manufacturing, industrial, and/or occupational environment
• Working knowledge of regulatory areas (ADA, OSHA, FMLA, Workers’ Compensation)
• CPR/AED Instructor
• Health coaching/certification
• Certified Occupational Health Nurse
