Mount Sinai Morningside is seeking a Clinical Program Manager responsible for ensuring orientation, competency assessment, and ongoing performance improvement for designated nursing staff. You will interface with department leaders to align clinical care delivery with quality standards and regulatory requirements.

The role emphasizes training, budget oversight, policy development, and interdepartmental collaboration to elevate patient care and staff performance within the clinical program.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Nursing is required.
• NP Certification in specialty area preferred.
• New York State License with current registration as a registered professional nurse. Certification in specialty area preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees clinical operations within the program and improves processes using data-driven methods.
• Recruits, orients, trains, coaches, counsels, mentors, disciplines, and evaluates staff.
• Develops and manages departmental budget and financial oversight.
• Plans, develops, and maintains departmental SOPs; reviews policies and procedures.
• Coordinates educational and performance improvement activities with nursing, medical, and quality leadership.
• Develops action plans to support clinical performance and provides resources for nursing care delivery.
• Establishes goals, policies, and procedures to achieve high nursing care delivery performance.
• Coordinates daily educational program activities aligned with program objectives.
