Job summary

TeamHealth is looking for a PMHNP-C or Psych PA-C for a full-time position focused on delivering high-quality behavioral health care to older adults. The role offers a flexible schedule, working onsite in Eastman and surrounding areas, without the administrative burdens of private practice.

The ideal candidate will conduct evaluations, diagnose disorders, prescribe medications and work closely with a collaborative care team. A GA state license is required, along with experience in the field.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted GA state license as a PMHNP-C or Psych PA-C.
• Active DEA or willingness to obtain.
• 6 months experience preferred as a PMHNP or Psych PA.
• Experience with older adults or post-acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments.
• Diagnose and treat psychiatric and neurocognitive disorders.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications.
• Evaluate behavioral and safety concerns.
• Provide brief interventions and behavioral management.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams.

Role Overview

Full-time (3.5 days per week) within Monday - Friday. No nights or weekends. Flexible, onsite, round-and-go model with remote documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and mental status examinations.
• Diagnose and treat psychiatric, behavioral, and neurocognitive disorders in older adults.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications.
• Evaluate behavioral and safety concerns.
• Provide brief interventions and behavioral management.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams across care settings.

Coverage Area

Eastman, Abbeville, and Lumber City, Georgia.

Compensation and Benefits

Estimated compensation range for 3.5 days per week is $97,176 - $115,011 annually with no cap on productivity income. Base salary plus productivity, W2 position with full benefits (medical, dental, vision, PTO, 401k). Back-end infrastructure and clinical support provided.
