Job summary

TeamHealth is seeking a PMHNP-C or Psychiatry PA-C to join our full-time team in Texas. The role offers clinical autonomy with a Monday–Friday schedule, no nights or weekends, and a round-and-go model with remote documentation.

Coverage includes Dallas and surrounding areas, with strong support from an integrated care team. The ideal candidate has 6 months of PMHNP or Psych PA experience, an active Texas license (PMHNP-C or Psych PA-C), and a willingness to obtain a DEA license.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Texas state license as a PMHNP-C or Psych PA-C.
• Active DEA license or willingness to obtain.
• 6 months experience as PMHNP or Psych PA.
• Experience with older adults or post-acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and mental status examinations.
• Diagnose and treat psychiatric, behavioral, and neurocognitive disorders in older adults.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications.
• Evaluate behavioral and safety concerns.
• Provide brief interventions and behavioral management.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams across care settings.

This role offers clinical autonomy, flexible scheduling, and strong organizational support in post-acute and long-term care settings (SNF/LTC/ALF/IRF).

Role Overview

• Full-time (5 days per week) within Monday - Friday
• No nights or weekends
• Flexible, onsite, round-and-go model with remote documentation
• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and mental status examinations
• Diagnose and treat psychiatric, behavioral, and neurocognitive disorders in older adults
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications
• Evaluate behavioral and safety concerns
• Provide brief interventions and behavioral management
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams across care settings
• Coverage area includes Dallas, Kennedale, Gainesville, Pilot Point, and Irving, Texas

Compensation and Benefits

• Estimated compensation range of $153,046 - $181,655 annually with no cap on productivity income
• Base salary plus productivity, W2 position with full benefits (medical, dental, vision, PTO, 401k)
• Back-end infrastructure and clinical support provided
