Wellpath / Correct Care Solutions is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (FNP) for a 2-days-per-week schedule in Napa, CA. The role provides primary care to incarcerated patients under supervision of the Site Medical Director, offering autonomy in a supportive team and opportunities for growth.

Ideal candidates hold a graduate degree in nursing and an advanced NP credential, with prior medical/surgical or emergency/trauma experience, preferably in corrections, and flexibility to rotate shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Advanced degree in a Nurse Practitioner program.
• Prior medical/surgical and/or emergency/trauma experience and corrections experience preferred.
• Must have the patience and tact to work with the inmate patient population.

Responsibilities

• Conducts routine and emergency medical care for inmates, including chronic care and infirmary rounds.
• Adheres to policies for medical care and documents in SOAP format.
• Reports concerns to Medical Director or Health Services Administrator.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and privacy for incarcerated individuals.
• Provides input into facility committees as requested.
