Job summary

Qualifications
- Education: Accredited nursing program with NP advanced degree.
- Experience: Prior medical/surgical and/or emergency/trauma and corrections experience preferred.
- Licenses/Certifications: Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of employment and CPR certification.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine and emergency medical care for inmates on-site.
- Document care in SOAP format and follow formulary guidelines.
- Maintain patient confidentiality for incarcerated individuals.
- Report concerns to Medical Director or Health Services Administrator.
- Provide input to facility committees as requested.
