Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (APRN) Role Scope
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (APRN) to join a top Cardiology practice in Fairfield County. The provider will deliver direct outpatient care in collaboration with physicians.
· Provide high-quality, patient-centered care, advocacy, and education for patients and families.
· Be self-motivated and flexible to meet the demands of the cardiology specialty.
· Demonstrate a passion for cardiology and adaptability within a rapidly growing institute.
· Communicate effectively with healthcare team members, patients, and families, demonstrating excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
· Educate patients and families to ensure understanding of care, testing, conditions, treatments, and outcomes.
· Manage clinical cases in collaboration with physicians in outpatient settings and hospital-based APPs and physicians.
· Possess a strong clinical background capable of diagnosing, treating, and managing complex cardiovascular conditions, including medication management and therapies.
· Identify emergent diagnostic information and communicate promptly with physicians.
Shift: Full Time – Exempt – 40 hours – Monday through Friday

Qualifications
Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (APRN) Requirements
· Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Master’s Program.
· Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physician Assistant (PA-C), Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), or Adult Geriatric Primary Care (AGPCNP) in Connecticut.
