Job summary

Highland Medical, P.C. in Nyack, NY is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide acute, sub-acute and chronic medical care within the NP scope.

You will collaborate with physicians and management, contribute to building the lung cancer screening program, and conduct exams, diagnostics, injections, minor procedures and patient education. The role requires NY NP licensure, a medical degree, and experience with EMR systems (EPIC preferred).

Qualifications

• Medical degree and NY NP licensure required.
• NP experience preferred.
• Experience with EMR systems; EPIC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide acute, sub-acute and chronic care within NP scope.
• Collaborate with physicians and management on the lung cancer screening program.
• Perform history and physicals, order/interpret diagnostics, venipuncture and injections, minor procedures, counseling and prescribing medications.
