Job summary

Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center is seeking a Licensed Registered Nurse Practitioner with neonatal and acute care experience to plan, coordinate, and deliver comprehensive health services in a hospital setting.

The role requires NYSED NP certification, NYSED RN license, and BLS certification; familiarity with coordinated patient care and family-centered approaches is preferred.

Qualifications

• A valid New York State license and current registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse (NYSED).
• Current Nurse Practitioner certificate issued by the NYSED.
• Holds or obtains BLS certification through the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provides continuous comprehensive medical and nursing care to patients and families.
• Manages health problems and coordinates care for patient populations.
• Educates and counsels patients and families regarding health status, treatment, medications and disease prevention.
• Orders, conducts, and interprets diagnostic tests and plans care accordingly.
• Collaborates with physicians and health care staff to ensure quality patient outcomes.
