Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facility.
• Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license.
• DEA license required.
• CPR certification (BCLS/BLS).
• Graduation from an accredited NP program.

Responsibilities

• Provide pulmonology consults in nursing home and long-term care settings.
• Assess and manage respiratory conditions such as COPD and asthma.
• Conduct respiratory-focused evaluations and interpret pulmonary tests.
• Manage oxygen therapy and respiratory medications.
• Collaborate with pulmonologists and interdisciplinary teams.
• Educate residents and families on disease management.
