Job summary

Premise Health, in Tucson, seeks a Part Time Nurse Practitioner to provide care to client employees and dependents at our Tucson Health Center. The schedule is 8 hours per week, Friday and Saturday, 8am–12pm, focusing on primary, acute, and chronic care management.

Applicants must hold RN and NP licenses, DEA, and national certification, with an MSN. BLS/ACLS training is required; independent practice is essential. Premise Health offers competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Maintains RN licenses/certificates to practice.
• Maintains Nurse Practitioner licenses/certificates to practice.
• Maintains State Prescriptive Authority (if applicable).
• Federal DEA license (matching each state of practice as applicable).
• Current national certification (ANCC or AANP required).
• Master's Degree in Science of Nursing (MSN).
• Current certification with hands-on training in BLS/ACLS as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines.
• Perform procedures such as injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management.
• Develop patient care plans, record progress, and ensure continuity of care.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, health maintenance, and development.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests to assess clinical conditions.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care.
• Prescribe or recommend treatments, including medications and therapies.
• Refer patients to specialists or physicians as needed.
• Maintain patient health records with accurate documentation.
• Educate and coach nursing staff on best practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

As a Part Time Nurse Practitioner, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Tucson, AZ. • Maintains patient health records ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation and records
• Educates and coaches nursing staff on best practices
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You'l Bring

• Current national certification (ANCC or AANP required)
• Master's Degree in Science of Nursing (if Master Degree in Science certificate does not state Nursing on it then a copy of transcripts is required)
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
• At least three years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in an ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice or emergency department setting
