Job summary

Premise Health Inc. in Maryville, TN, is seeking a Full Time Nurse Practitioner to provide care for client employees and their dependents at our health center.

Schedule is 32 hours per week: Mon Tue Thu Fri 8:00a–5:00p, with no nights or weekends and on-call 2x/year. Responsibilities include performing exams, procedures, care planning, patient education, ordering tests, and collaborative care with physicians.

Qualifications

• State RN license required.
• Nurse Practitioner license/registration required.
• Prescriptive authority (state dependent) required.
• DEA license required; narcotic license if applicable.
• National certification (ANCC or AANP) required.
• MSN in Nursing or higher; transcripts if degree not clearly stated.
• Current BLS/CPR certificiation required; ACLS may be required depending on contract.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience as NP in ambulatory/occupational/family practice or ED.

Responsibilities

• Conducts physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines.
• Performs injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management.
• Develops care plans, records progress, ensures continuity of care.
• Educates patients on treatment plans and health maintenance.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests to assess clinical conditions.
• Collaborates with physicians for comprehensive care.
• Prescribes or recommends treatments and therapies.
• Refer patients to specialists as needed.
• Maintains patient health records and documentation.

As a Full Time Nurse Practitioner, you'll provide care to client employeesand their dependents in our Health Center located in Maryville, TN.

Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday 8:00a - 5:00p

What You’ll Do

• Educates and coaches nursing staff on best practices
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• Maintains state RN licenses/certificates to practice
• Maintains Nurse Practitioner licenses/certificates to practice
• Maintains State Prescriptive Authority (if applicable)
• Federal DEA license (matching each state of practice as applicable)
• State Narcotic/Controlled Substance license if required in your state (Alabama, Connecticut, DC, Delaware, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Utah, Wyoming, Puerto Rico) (New York ROPES registration)
• Current national certification (ANCC or AANP required)
• Master’s Degree in Science of Nursing (if Master Degree in Science certificate does not state Nursing on it then a copy of transcripts is required)
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
• At least three years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in an ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice or emergency department setting
