Community Health Care North Canton seeks a Family or Adult Nurse Practitioner dedicated to high-quality, patient-centered care within an established practice. You will conduct exams, manage care plans, order diagnostics, and collaborate with physicians to address acute and chronic needs.

The role requires a Master’s degree in nursing and valid APN authorization in Ohio, with prescriptive authority. Strong EMR experience and knowledge of HIPAA/OSHA are essential for compliance and care quality.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited nursing program.
• APN authorization in Ohio to practice in family health by the Board of Nurse Examiners.
• Prescriptive authorization.
• Knowledge of Electronic Medical Records and information systems.
• A sound understanding of all pertinent federal and state regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of disease processes and prevention.

Responsibilities

• Performing physical exams and patient observations.
• Recording patients' medical histories and symptoms.
• Creating patient care plans and contributing to existing ones.
• Ordering and analyzing diagnostic tests.
• Diagnosing health issues.
• Detecting changes in patients' health and modifying treatment plans, as needed.
• Educating patients and their families to manage and prevent illness and injury.
• Collaborates with physicians in managing acute and long-term medical needs of the patients.
