Job summary

Prime Healthcare seeks a Nurse Practitioner at Gadsden, AL to deliver general care across all ages in a surgical associate setting. You will work days, 8-hour shifts, full-time employment, collaborating with physicians and staff to ensure quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• MSN with ARNP specialization and active APRN license.
• BLS certification required at hire.
• 1–2 years NP experience preferred; EHR experience required.

The Nurse Practitioner focuses on providing general care to patients of all ages, with utmost patience, care, compassion and understanding. Perform tasks within their scope of practice which may include conducting tests, recording medical histories, providing treatments, assisting physicians and enhancing public awareness on the importance of health, and prescribing medications.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):

• The Nurse Practitioner focuses on providing general care to patients of all ages, with utmost patience, care, compassion and understanding.
• Perform tasks within their scope of practice which may include conducting tests, recording medical histories, providing treatments, assisting physicians and enhancing public awareness on the importance of health, and prescribing medications.

Qualifications

• MSN with specialization as an ARNP
• Current state license as an Advanced Practice Nurse
• BLS upon hire and maintain current
• Previous experience with electronic health record
• One to two years of experience as a nurse practitioner preferred.
