Job summary

Prime Healthcare’s Riverview Pulmonology Associates in Gadsden, AL seeks a Pulmonary Nurse Practitioner (PRN/Per Diem) to deliver patient-centered care across ages in a respiratory specialty setting. You will perform tests, document histories, provide treatments, support physicians, and prescribe medications within your scope of practice.

Required MSN with ARNP specialization, current APRN license, BLS, EHR experience, and 1–2 years NP experience preferred.

Qualifications

• MSN with specialization as an ARNP.
• Current state license as an Advanced Practice Nurse (APRN).
• BLS certification required on hire and maintained.
• Experience with electronic health records.
• One to two years of NP experience preferred.

• Provide general care to patients of all ages with patience and compassion.

Location: Riverview Pulmonology Associates, Gadsden, AL

APulmonary Nurse Practitioner (Pulmonary NP)is an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) specializing in diagnosing, treating, and managing diseases and disorders of the respiratory system. They work closely with pulmonologists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care for both acute and chronic lung conditions.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):

• The Nurse Practitioner focuses on providing general care to patients of all ages, with utmost patience, care, compassion and understanding.
• Perform tasks within their scope of practice which may include conducting tests, recording medical histories, providing treatments, assisting physicians and enhancing public awareness on the importance of health, and prescribing medications.

Qualifications

• MSN with specialization as an ARNP
• Current state license as an Advanced Practice Nurse
• BLS upon hire and maintain current
• Previous experience with electronic health record
• One to two years of experience as a nurse practitioner preferred.
