Job summary

Matthew 25 Aids Services in Evansville, IN seeks a clinician with MSN in Nursing to provide family practice care in a mission-driven nonprofit setting. You will develop patient-centered treatment plans, conduct comprehensive assessments, educate patients, and monitor progress across a broad patient population.

The role requires 2–3 years in primary care, Indiana/Kentucky licensure, and a commitment to serving the community.

Qualifications

• MSN in Nursing is required.
• Current license in Indiana and/or Kentucky with national certification.
• 2–3 years of family practice or primary care experience.
• Experience working in a nonprofit organization or a strong desire to work in a service-driven environment.
• 100% commitment to Matthew 25's mission, vision and values.
• Flexibility for travel across a large geographic area in Kentucky as needed.
• Valid driver’s license with at least three years driving experience and clean record in the past three years.
• Must pass drug screen and background test.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews, physical examinations, and symptom evaluations.
• Develop and implement patient-centered treatment plans, which may involve prescribing medications, therapies, and other interventions.
• Educate patients about prescribed treatments and expected outcomes.
• Monitor patient progress through regular follow-ups and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Conduct screenings, immunizations, and health assessments to prevent illnesses and promote wellness.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, including patient histories, progress notes, and treatment plans.
• Engage in ongoing professional development activities to stay current with advancements in healthcare practices.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and promote evidence-based practice.

QUALIFICATIONS

• MSN in Nursing required.
• Maintain a current and valid M.D., D.O., P.A. or N.P. Kentucky and/or Indiana license, along with national certification.
• 2 – 3 years family practice or primary care.
• Experience working in a nonprofit organization or a strong desire to work in service driven environment.

• Flexibility, as our services are available to a large geographic area in the state of Kentucky, which may require some travel
• Valid Driver’s License with at least three (3) years driving experience and less than two (2) moving violations in the past three (3) years.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and background test.
