Inova-GoHealth Urgent Care in Centreville, Virginia, is seeking a part-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our urgent care team. The role involves 6:00 PM–10:00 PM shifts (4 hours each) across weekdays and weekends, totaling 19 partial shifts per schedule.

The incumbent will provide high-quality, patient-centered care within a physician-led organization that prioritizes integrated care and community service.

Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioners must have a Master’s in Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent.
• Physician Assistants must have a graduate PA program and NCCPA certification.
• BLS and ACLS certification are required for practice in urgent care.
• Licensed FNP or PA in Virginia is required for clinical duties.
• DEA license is required for prescribing controlled substances.
• Signed Practice Agreement and Scope of Practice/Protocol must be in place.
• Successful completion of payer credentialing (Medicare/Medicaid).
• Medical staff credentialing for clinical privileges must be completed.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care assessment and treatment as a NP/PA.
• Collaborate with physicians and clinic staff for patient care.
• Perform exams, order tests, document in chart, and manage follow-up care.
