SaVida Health in Brattleboro, VT is seeking a dedicated clinician to join our full-time weekday program. You will provide outpatient addiction treatment services, perform patient evaluations and exams, interpret lab results, counsel on medication adherence, and coordinate care with the Medical Director and PCPs.

The ideal candidate holds an active MA license with prescriptive authority and a U.S. DEA certificate, plus experience with electronic medical records.

• EMR software experience required.
• Active MA license with prescriptive authority in good standing.
• U.S. DEA Certificate required.

Responsabilidades

• Schedule appointments and oversee patient flow with center administrator and medical receptionist.
• Interpret test results to diagnose health issues and provide feedback to patients.
• Counsel patients regarding medication compliance and treatment plans.
• Complete patient evaluations and physical exams with thorough documentation.
• Coordinate care with PCPs and specialists as needed.
• Attend provider and staff meetings as directed by Medical Director.
• Review medication adjustments with Medical Director.

Description

• Exhibits high levels of customer service, compassion, professionalism and empathy to all patients at all times, embracing the Harm Reduction philosophy of treatment for patients with Substance Use Disorder (SUD)
• Works closely with the center administrator and medical receptionist in scheduling appointments and oversees patient flow in the office, practicing safe and healthy control methods while working with patients
• Participates in provider meetings and staff meetings as determined by the Medical Director
• Interprets test results to diagnose any health issues and provides feedback to patients
• Counsels patients regarding medication compliance
• Completes patient evaluations and physical exams with thorough, timely documentation to include coordination of care
• Patient follow up visits to include detailed, timely documentation including patients' progress with medication and/or treatment
• Contacts patients' PCPs and/or specialists when necessary
• Reviews any unusual medication adjustments with the Medical Director

Position Requirements

• EMR software experience
• Current MA license with prescriptive authority in good standing
• U.S. DEA Certificate
• Prior experience with Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment preferred
