Job summary

NITELINES USA, INC seeks a Nurse Practitioner to join our Atlanta clinic. The role involves providing diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive care within a busy primary care setting, taking histories, examining patients, ordering tests, interpreting results, and prescribing medications as appropriate.

Candidates must hold NP licensure, CPR certification, and at least three years of experience; the work schedule is 8 hours daily, five days a week, between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Nurse Practitioner license in the United States.
• CPR certification per American Heart Association Basic Life Support.
• Minimum of three years of clinical experience.
• Provide documentation of education, licensure, and CME.
• Must be able to pass a background check, drug screening, and credit check (collections).

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive health care services.
• Take medical histories, examine patients, order and interpret laboratory tests and x-rays.
• Make a diagnosis, provide treatment plans and prescribe medications.
• Clinically manage injuries by suturing, splinting, and immobilizing.
• Attend to medical emergencies.
• Record progress notes, advise on necessary outside consultation, and order or carry out therapy.
• Emergency consultations as needed.
• Work with staff and consulting physicians in planning and evaluating program plans.
• Assist in determining conditions, resources and policies essential to delivery of health care services.
• Discriminate between normal and abnormal findings to recognize early serious problems.
• Manage daily clinic operations and conduct daily sick calls.
• Provide a wide range of emergency services in the absence of the physician.

Job description

NEEDED: Nurse Practitioner

LOCATION:

Atlanta, GA 30317

SCHEDULE:

8 hours per day, 5 days per week (excluding federal holidays), between 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Sunday - Saturday, not to exceed 40 hours per week.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be certified to practice medicine in any state in the United States or territory.
• Must be Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certified, in accordance with the American Heart Association Basic Life Support.
• Must have at least three or more years of experience.
• Must provide evidentiary documentation (education, current licensor/, and current CME)
• Must be able to pass a background check, drug screening, and credit check (collections).

JOB DUTIES:

• Provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive health care services
• Take medical histories, examine patients, order and interpret laboratory tests and x-rays
• Make a diagnosis, provide treatment plans and prescribe medications
• Clinically manage injuries by suturing, splinting, and immobilizing
• Attend to medical emergencies
• Record progress notes, recommend clinically necessary outside consultation, instruct and counsel, and order or carry out therapy
• Emergency consultation to be performed by the contractor in instances where deemed necessary. Perform minor surgery utilizing local anesthesia during consultation visits
• Work collaboratively with the staff physician(s) and consulting physician(s) in planning, instituting, evaluating and revising program plans
• Assist in determining conditions, resources and policies essential to delivery of the health care services
• Discriminates between normal and abnormal findings to recognize early stages of serious physical, emotional, or mental problems
• Manages the daily operation of the clinic and conducts daily sick calls; which may include securing health histories from the patient, recording findings and providing clinical evaluations
• Provides a wide range of emergency services, in the absence of the physician
