Job summary

CHI Mercy Health is recruiting an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) in Roseburg, OR to provide compassionate, high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. You will perform critical assessments, implement care plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support patient recovery.

Role requires Oregon RN license, BLS within 30 days, ACLS within 6 months, and 2400 hours in CCU/ICU/ED in the last 24 months, with an Associate's Degree in Nursing.

Responsibilities

  • Administer medications with precision for patient safety.
  • Manage chronic ventilator patients, including emergency interventions.

  • Observe, collect, and record patient biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, and self-care data; formulate nursing diagnoses, and measure progress.
  • Implement age-appropriate care plans in collaboration with physicians, patients, families, and the healthcare team.
  • Administer medications with precision for patient safety.
  • Manage chronic ventilator patients, including emergency interventions.

Core Schedule: Week 1 Mon, Tue, Sat; Week 2 Sun, Mon, Wed

Job Requirements
Required
  • Oregon RN License
  • AHA BLS within 30 days
  • ACLS within 6 months
  • Minimum of 2400 hours within the last 24 months as a Registered Nurse in Critical Care (PCU, ICU, ED)
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing
Preferred
  • BSN
  • PCU and/or ICU experience
  • PCCN
