Job summary

Wilson Elser's Orlando office seeks a Full Time Nurse Paralegal to join our expanding litigation team. This role provides paralegal training if needed and an excellent opportunity for healthcare professionals to grow within a national law firm.

The ideal candidate is a licensed RN with a Bachelor's degree and may have Nurse Paralegal or Legal Nurse Consultant experience; strong writing and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN with a Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Nurse Paralegal or Legal Nurse Consultant experience is a plus; training provided if needed.
• Ability to quickly learn proprietary software systems and databases.
• Strong written communication and business writing skills.
• Strong critical thinking and excellent organizational abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Analyze and summarize medical records.
• Create medical chronologies and narrative summaries.
• Create billing record summaries in Excel.
• Prepare and organize materials for expert witness review.
• Conduct investigative research on expert witnesses.
